Fredrik Bock studerade barockgitarr och luta för Prof. Stephen Stubbs på Hochschule für Künste, Bremen och han debuterade från solistklassen vid Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium 2003. Fredrik har från 1999 till 2001 blivit tilldelad Kungliga Musikaliska Akademien´s barock-stipendium för sitt arbete med barockgitarren. Fredrik anlitas ofta av danska och svenska symfoniorkestrar för spel på diverse lut-och gitarrinstrument. Kompar ofta och gärna solister och ensembler bl.a Concerto Copenhagen, Andrew Lawrence King, Barokksolistene, Holland Baroque Society, Theatre of Voices, New Dutch Academy, Ensemble1700.

Fredrik Bock studied the guitar at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Odense, Denmark and The Royal Academy of Music, Copenhagen. After the guitar studies he chose to specialize in early guitars and lutes and studied these at Hochschule für Künste in Bremen with Stephen Stubbs. Fredrik has received several grants from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music for his work with the baroque guitar. Fredrik Bock is frequently asked to play continuo on operaproductions both in Denmark and abroad. Fredrik works regularly with a.o. Lars Ulrik Mortensen and Concerto Copenhagen, Andrew Lawrence King, Barokksolistene, Holland Baroque Society, Theatre of Voices, New Dutch Academy, Ensemble1700.
